Andrea’s Approach

My goal is to provide each of my clients with evidence-based information and support that empowers them to make informed feeding decisions that make sense for their unique situation. I am passionate about my work and have over a decade’s experience in clinical breastfeeding case management. My job is to get to know you and your baby, assess what is happening and provide you with options.

First and foremost, I listen to you to understand where you are coming from and where you want to go. In other words, my approach is to assist you to craft the breastfeeding experience you want to have. I will inform you, coach you and cheerlead you along the way. My expertise will help you get launched, keep things going, and, when you and your baby are ready, I can help wind things down.

What my clients say about me:

I called Andrea when our baby was about two weeks old. From our first phone conversation, I was impressed with Andrea’s professionalism and warmth. She put me at ease right away. She was immensely helpful to my husband and me as we navigated being first time parents. She helped our family to approach breastfeeding as a team effort by giving us the information and support we needed to be successful. She was great about checking in during our first few weeks and anytime I reached out, she got back to me promptly. She was generous with her time, knowledge, and kindness. Breastfeeding has gone better than I could have anticipated. My daughter is four months old now. She is thriving on breast milk. It’s been an unexpected source of confidence for me to be able to feed her this way. It’s also been an important bonding experience for us. I’m grateful to Andrea for helping breastfeeding to be such a positive, successful experience for my baby and me.”
